July’s Tickenham WI meeting was a musical one. We started off singing Jerusalem lead by Amanda playing the ukelele, which was a great and unique beginning to a really engaging afternoon. Dave and Steve from The Silver Foxes then gave us a brilliant combination of music and story telling, including a potted history of banjos and banjo playing, woven through with songs.

The best way of describing how enjoyable the music was, is to give you a short snippet of Pete and Steve performing Gentle On My Mind, one of Glen Campbell’s most well known songs.
