There is no meeting in August, but there is still plenty happening at Tickenham WI. Tuesday August 11th is our outing to Bristol Harbourside with lots of places to visit. An outline programme for the day has been emailed to members.

Saturday August 15th is the Tickenham Village Flower Show. Tickenham WI will be selling teas, coffees and cakes in the Tickenham Village Hall from 12pm, with warmed vegetable quiches and salad from 12.30pm. Cold drinks will also be available.

We return to our programme on September 8th with a Summer Picnic on the field, but in the Hall if wet. This will be an ideal opportunity to socialise and reminisce. The old photo books, the amazing 1966 Village Scrapbook and some of the old Committee Minutes and Record books will be there to look through. Some simple games will also be available if the weather plays fair.
