Several reminders this month. Tickets for The Ploughman’s Lunch on Tuesday July 21st (the Tuesday after our monthly meeting) are still on sale at £8. If you can get them physically, or at least book them in good time, we can make sure we have enough food for everyone. As always there is a list for you to volunteer desserts (expenses can be claimed if you wish). It’s a great social occasion and a good way to chat to old friends or make new ones.

Tickenham Flower Show is on Saturday August 15th. The WI are doing teas (others drinks are available), quiche and salad, plus of course, cakes. If you feel able to donate one or two (homemade or bought) please add your name to the volunteer list at our next meeting, but again you can claim expenses if you wish. The list will also have space for you to volunteer to serve cakes, teas or help in many other ways, please add your name to the best time slot for you.
