Members are invited to take part in a fun “Decorate a Bra” competition inspired by a WI campaign theme. Bras should be clean and can be decorated in any creative way, including stitching, painting, appliqué, beads, fabric additions or other embellishments. Entries can showcase any level of skill or experience. Each member may enter one bra, with no more than three entries submitted per WI, so please liaise within your WI before entering.

Completed entries should be delivered or posted to WI House, 11 Station Road, Keynsham, Bristol BS31 2BH and should clearly include the member’s name and WI. The deadline for submissions is Tuesday 28 July 2026.

The competition entries will be judged by guests and members during the AFWI Annual Meeting on Tuesday 15 September 2026 at the Winter Gardens, Royal Parade, Weston-super-Mare BS23 1AJ. The winning design will be announced towards the end of the meeting, and photographs will be taken of all entries. Members are welcome to collect their creations at the end of the event; any uncollected items will be responsibly disposed of afterwards.
